Cougars & Castles: Finished!

My third novel, Cougars & Castles, is finally done! As usual, it can be found on the normal e-stores: Amazon, Kobo, Sony, iTunes, Barnes & Nobles and Smashwords. The companion novella will be out shortly as well.

We're experimenting with a new kind of cover and I think it's come together pretty well. Let me know if you have any opinions!

Catherine has taken eight years to get over her divorce, holing up in her flat outside of Leeds. When she decides to take control of her life once more, and go back to school, her family is worried about who she might meet there. What they should have been worried about was who she already knew. 

Cougars and Castles

I'm currently working on a new novel. It wasn't the one I thought I'd be working on but when the idea came to me, I had to just go with it. So hopefully before the New Year, I should have my third novel finished and there will probably be an accompanying novella as well, since that seems to be something of a trend so far!

The title for my novel is Cougars and Castles, changed from it's original working title! I consulted with my title wordsmith and she's approved the new title so we're good to go. Even though it's still very much in the working part of the process, I thought I'd share the title with you!

Teacups & Troubles

My new novella, Teacups & Troubles, is now available online! It's a companion novella to Tartans & Temptations but it can also be read as a stand alone. 

It's available on Amazon, Kobo, Barnes & Nobles, Smashwords ( and through them will trickle down to Apple and Sony) and my new retailer, All Romance. I'm very excited about having a new site to sell on and thanks for those who've purchased there already!

Alexis is hardly the type to fall in love. So when she does fall, completely and inappropriately, for her boss, Alexis is the first to disapprove. She can only hope that her sister is right and that she has no idea what love really is.

Teacups Teaser

I've gotten the news that it's all systems go over on All Romance Ebooks! You can now find my three titles there and hopefully by the end of this month, my fourth, Teacups & Troubles. But until then, here's a tiny, tiny taste of it:

Alexis stared at the computer screen, checking the flight information for the fourth time that hour. Her boss was due to land soon at Edinburgh Airport after his much needed holiday in Paris. Though he originally bought the trip for two, Charles ended up going alone, without his fiancée.

“What time do you leave?”

Alexis looked up, startled. Jeremy stood on the other side of the desk. She hadn’t even heard him approach.

“The car’s going to pick me up any minute now,” Alexis replied. It was only her third month with this office in Edinburgh though she worked with Charles in London for six months. The employees were still trying to figure her out. 

Teacups & Troubles

Still hard at work on the next piece, a novella sequel to Tartans & Temptations. I've gotten the cover illustration which is exciting, it adds some shape to the book in my mind! My publisher is in the process of getting my work onto the All Romance Ebooks site, which will give me another portal to any potential readers! So a lot of good news. I also have a new novel in the works, still set in the UK. I'll have more to share about that later as the novella progresses further. Just wanted to keep some updates rolling in.

Long Time No See

It's been ages since I've had time to sit and write a post. Everything with Tartans & Temptations is finally finished though it's months behind schedule. That's all my fault, it took much longer to write than I expected! But here it is!

I hope you enjoy it, it was certainly a labour of love...and pain. Lots of pain as many, if not all, books are. I'll be working on the companion novella soon. We haven't entirely decided on a title but I've got the first word down...Teacups. Not much, but it's a start. Now I just have to get the words and the second half of the title. Hope you enjoy! As usual, the book is available on Amazon, Barnes&Nobles, Kobo and Smashwords. Eventually it'll be distributed to Apple and Sony as well.
